Wynberg Allen School will soon be 125 years old. (A very proud milestone for us all)

Our School founders Mr Alfred Powell , Mr and Mrs Arthur Foy and Brig J H Condon while planning Wynberg Memorial
School in 8887, then would have little imagined what their great intention, vision and mission will shape into.

Our Founders

Our Founders

We also need to acknowledge Henry Allen and Family who helped the school to move to its present site from Jabarkhet. In these last 125 years we have been blessed with men and women (Board Members, Principals and Teachers) of commitment who have continued with the good work of the Founders and brought the school to what it is today.

EXCELSIOR
2013 will not only be a period for us to rejoice and celebrate as we reach this important landmark in our school’s history, but also an opportunity to pay our tributes, homage and respect to all those who have been responsible for bringing glory, fame and honour to this great institution.

We also acknowledge every single Allwynian (former and current) who have been through the portals of Wynberg Allen. If it was not for you all, this famed and much loved school may not have earned its current reputation and honour.

In view of this, we would like as many  former Allwynians (Students and members of staff) to join us to celebrate this historic and landmark event in 2013.

The official celebrations will run from Oct 9th – Oct 12, 2013.

Founders’ day celebrations will be on the 11th of Oct and Fancy Fair on the 12th of October.

The Quasquicentenniall celebration dates are Oct. 9-12, 2013
